Following is a description of the personnel functions and tasks required to maintain the USAFA Class of 1965 database [the DB] on the site https://usafa-1965.org [the SITE]. Definitions =========== Squadron Representative [REP] ------------------------------ A member of a Cadet Squadron [CS] who has volunteered to act as a focal point for his fellow squadron members regarding the SITE and the DB. Alternate REP [AREP] -------------------- One or more members of a CS who have volunteered to assist their REP in matters concerning fellow squadron members regarding the SITE and the DB. Database Admistrator [DBA] -------------------------- The person responsible for technical administration and maintenance of the DB. The DBA may be a classmate or a descendant of a classmate. REPs and AREPs act as assistant DBA in assuring DB data currency and accuracy. They also suggest additional DB fields as required. Site Administrator [SA] ----------------------- The person responsible for technical administration and maintenance of the SITE. The SA may be a classmate or a descendant of a classmate. REPs and AREPs act as assistant SA in assuring SITE data currency and accuracy. Database ======== Fields ------ Current database fields are defined in the document 'DATABASE-FIELDS.txt'. Data Tasks ---------- Ensure each classmate has a "preferred_sqdn" to prevent unnecessary REP duplication of effort. Ensure currency and accuracy of, as a minimum, the following data fields: CS association(s) email addresses (in preferred order) home address phone numbers classmates desire for participating and allowing access of data OR deceased status Attempt to maintain currency and accuracy of the following data fields: spouse name and email
